Why it exists
AI companies read a lot of the web. Some of them send readers back from their answers; some send nobody. Site owners deserve to know which is which before they decide who to let in.
A script tag notices visitors arriving from an AI engine, a small edge or server snippet notices the bots, and each bot is checked against its company's published IP list. No cookies, nothing about the visitors.
